This Project concerns the interconnection of a combined-cycle natural gas plant with a nominal capacity of 876.6 MW, which is located in the Industrial Area of Komotini.

The Challenge
Identifying the optimal point of interconnection to the existing network and maintaining network reliability, since the plant to be interconnected will constitute a base unit.
The Solution
In order to maintain network reliability, our company proposed and implemented a special connection of the circuits with the said plant. This has made it possible to establish a much more cost-effective connection compared to alternative solutions.
