Challenges

The compact design of the new overhead network was a key requirement to minimize interventions, given that the interconnection works are being developed near arable farmland. This choice, while critical for respecting the surrounding environment, leaves little room for flexibility.

Method of project completion

In close collaboration with the client, and taking into account both the technical soundness and constructability of the interconnection works, we completed the implementation study of the new 400 kV transmission line. The design, aimed at minimizing interventions, promptly secured a positive recommendation from the competent authority.
