The Project involves the interconnection of the new 400kV Ultra-High Voltage Centre (Greek abbreviation KYT) in KOZANI with the existing ultra-high voltage transmission line passing above it.

The Challenge
Our company was commissioned to prepare a study based on the already existing approved preliminary design. Although there was very little room for modifications, we were called to resolve some technical issues.
The Solution
Despite the technical problems that arose, we submitted to the customer three (3) alternative solution options for the execution of the Final Design.

The customer received the Final Interconnection Design which presents the fewest technical problems, given the binding nature of the original design.
